The Greek National Committee for the History of Science and Technology is pleased to announce its partnership with the Princeton Athens Center in launching the first series of work-in-progress meetings, aimed at fostering the Greek research community in the history of science and technology.
The 2025–26 series has several goals: to support rigorous scholarship in the history of science and technology and strengthen its connections with the field of Hellenic Studies; to provide mentoring for early-career scholars and encourage intellectual exchange across different areas of specialization; and to build an academic community that will engage Princeton Hellenic Studies alumni, former fellows, and other colleagues in Greece.
Meetings will be small (10–12 participants) and diverse in composition, across gender, institution, career stage, and research focus. They are intended to serve as the primary forum for promising early-career scholars to interact with senior colleagues. The community will meet in person once a month to present work-in-progress, with occasional contributions (via Zoom or in person) from Princeton faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers.
